Our client provides EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and maintenance business related services and solutions regionally for various plants and facilities in the Energy, Transition, Healthcare/Life Science, Industrial/Urban Infrastructure and Resource Recycling fields. They are now looking for an LNG Tank Construction supervisor for their Indonesia’s construction site.

LNG Tank Construction Supervisor

Responsibilities

· Oversee tank construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

· Lead and supervise a team of construction personnel, including workers and subcontractors.

· Participate in construction planning, including resource estimation and milestone identification.

· Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

· Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and manage construction risks.

· Communicate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.

· Maintain construction records, including progress reports, material logs, and inspection reports.

· Contribute to cost control efforts by monitoring construction activities and resource utilization.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in tank construction.

Requirements

· Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 10 years of working experience with LNG Tank Construction supervisory background.

· Oil & Gas industry’s experience with relevant certs

· Solid technical and practical experience in the relevant discipline, including ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.

· Expertise in the civil designing of the LNG storage tanks

· Expertise in Structural Analysis (DIANA)

· Well-versed in Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) effect

· Recognized trade qualifications in the relevant discipline or equivalent experience

· Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge in relevant software
• Possessing diploma having experience on tank fabrication, erection and testing of various type of tanks

· 1 year contract job which will start from June 2023 – September 2024

· Comfortable with construction site’s environment in Indonesia.

· Willing to work 60 hours per week

· Language proficiencies: English and Bahasa Melayu or Indonesia to communicate with Indonesian stakeholders, vendors and the Indonesia’s construction site’s Indonesian workers
