Job Description

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify yard development needs and objectives

· Conduct site assessment and feasibility studies for yard expansion or improvement projects.

· Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and plans for yard infrastructure enhancements.

· Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant code and standards.

· Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project execution.

· Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of yard development projects.

· Implement best practices for yard layout, equipment placement, and workflow optimization.

· Continuously evaluate and propose innovative solutions for improving yard efficiency and safety.

· Collaborate with environmental and safety teams to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

· Provide technical expertise and support to the maintenance and operational teams as needed.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of maintenance working experience in marine shipyard industry

· Hands on experience in welding machine and CNC plate cutting machine troubleshooting works

· Possess good communication skills and be able to relate different levels of people

· Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior

· Good in using Microsoft Office

· Permanent - 5.5 days’ work week | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm

Salary & Benefits

· Monthly Basic Salary will be based on expertise and qualifications

· OT pay entitlement: OT Flat rate S$8/- per hour
