Looking for an Experience E&I Inspector in Mooring and Turret system.
Job Descriptions
- To provide E&I construction expertise, guidance and support to both the Company and Contractor teams, utilising an array of experience to ensure the safest and most cost effective construction methods are used throughout the FPSO Turret execution phase
- Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to;
- Supporting the ACM – Turret planning, oversight, completion and commissioning of all E&I Turret construction activities , and assisting in the delivery of Project Compliance, Oversight, Guidance and Support of the Contractors.
- Ensure the best practice construction considerations and methods are adopted by the Contractor and their subcontractors in relation to FPSO Turret & Mooring E&I activities within the during the execution phase.
- Maintain and continually improve contemporary E&I construction knowledge.
- Provide a visible presence onsite and within Contractor and subcontractor yard offices.
- Ensure construction carried out on site meets with applicable Specifications, Codes and/or Standards to ensure a smooth transition to FPSO Turret Completions and Commissioning teams.
- Act as an interface across all key E&I aspects of the Project.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with the company’s HSE policies and procedures, and actively participate in Company/Contractors initiated safety programs and training, as required.
- Participate in the Company/Contractor safety programs and in subcontractor pre-starts, Behaviour based safety (BBS) engagements, Loss Prevention Inspections (LPIs) and safety walk downs (normally with Contractor counterpart) as required to achieve Project HSE outcomes
Requirements:
- Technical Degree or Diploma
- ATEX or COPEX certification is a must.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in E & I Inspection.
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook)
- Ability to read, understand and articulate fabrication drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, weld procedures, schedules and other QA/QC documents is required.
- Strong understanding of AWS, ASME B31.3 and ASME sec VIII and IX.
- Ability to prioritize the work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action.
- Strong ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively.
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Must be self-motivated.
- Must be a team player.
